John Rose is one of the five finalists of NFM’s Anthem Theme Song Contest. He’s a Frisco, Texas singer/songwriter that was raised listening to Boys II Men, Celine Dione, Air Supply, The Temptations, Pavarotti, and George Strait just to name a few. His taste and culture stretch far and wide.
John grew up in a musically-inclined family starting from his grandparents Byron Mino, a famous opera singer from Quito, Ecuador and his grandmother, Beth Dickerson who is a classically-trained piano prodigy from Juilliard. has musical blood flowing all throughout his veins. He is also related to Vanilla Ice, Kip Hines, and Alisha Mino.
Born and raised in a musical family, singer/songwriter John Rose says that he considers his music as his diary but unlike most people, he’s more than willing to share his deepest thoughts and feelings with the world. For him, being able to use his music to help and inspire people who are going through different challenges in life is more than enough reason for him to open up and show the world his own vulnerabilities.
John says joining the NFM’s Anthem Theme Song Contest and making it to the top five finalists has given him a new competence to continue to do what he loves and take it to another level.
